Queensland act
The National Electricity (Queensland) Law adopts the national electricity rulebook as Queensland law, providing the legal foundation for how the electricity market is run and regulated. It sets the institutional framework and definitions that govern operations, pricing and compliance.
It affects consumers, retailers, network operators, generators and new technology trials — shaping prices, reliability obligations and who can run or test services in Queensland’s electricity system.
