sec.95 Notice of proposed Rule

This section applies if the AEMC— considers that it should take action under this Division in respect of a request for the making of a Rule; or forms an intention to make an AEMC initiated Rule. The AEMC must publish— notice of the request or intention (as the case requires); and a draft of the proposed Rule; and any other document prescribed by the Regulations. A notice published under this section must— invite written submissions and comments from any person or body in relation to the proposed Rule by the date specified in the notice by the AEMC, being a date that is not less than 4 weeks from the date the notice is published; and contain any other information prescribed by the Regulations. Nothing in this Division is to be taken as requiring the AEMC to publish notices under this section in the same order as it— considers that it should take action under this Division in respect of a request for the making of a Rule; or forms an intention to make an AEMC initiated Rule. s 95 amd 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 62 (sec.95-ssec.1) This section applies if the AEMC— considers that it should take action under this Division in respect of a request for the making of a Rule; or forms an intention to make an AEMC initiated Rule. (sec.95-ssec.1a) The AEMC must publish— notice of the request or intention (as the case requires); and a draft of the proposed Rule; and any other document prescribed by the Regulations. (sec.95-ssec.2) A notice published under this section must— invite written submissions and comments from any person or body in relation to the proposed Rule by the date specified in the notice by the AEMC, being a date that is not less than 4 weeks from the date the notice is published; and contain any other information prescribed by the Regulations. (sec.95-ssec.3) Nothing in this Division is to be taken as requiring the AEMC to publish notices under this section in the same order as it— considers that it should take action under this Division in respect of a request for the making of a Rule; or forms an intention to make an AEMC initiated Rule.

• (a) considers that it should take action under this Division in respect of a request for the making of a Rule; or
• (b) forms an intention to make an AEMC initiated Rule.
• (a) notice of the request or intention (as the case requires); and
• (b) a draft of the proposed Rule; and
• (c) any other document prescribed by the Regulations.
