sec.28ZF AER Guidelines

The AER must prepare guidelines about the exercise of its powers under section 28 , including about— the rights and obligations of persons who are served with a relevant notice under that section; and the penalties applying under that section for non-compliance with a notice; and the purposes for which information obtained under that section may be used. The AER may prepare guidelines about the matters it will have regard to before— making an application under section 61 ; or serving an infringement notice under section 74 , or accepting an enforceable undertaking under section 59A . (sec.28ZF-ssec.2) The AER must publish guidelines prepared under subsection (a1) or (1) on its website.

• (a) the rights and obligations of persons who are served with a relevant notice under that section; and
• (b) the penalties applying under that section for non-compliance with a notice; and
• (c) the purposes for which information obtained under that section may be used.
