sec.87 Definitions

In this Part— AEMC initiated Rule means a Rule of the kind referred to in section 91 (2) ; s 87 def AEMC initiated Rule ins 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (2) AEMC Rule review means a review conducted by the AEMC under Division 5 of Part 4 ; s 87 def AEMC Rule review ins 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (2) electricity market regulatory body means— the AER; AEMO; the Reliability Panel; s 87 def electricity market regulatory body ins 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (2) amd 2009 No. 31 (SA) s 29 interested person or body ... s 87 def interested person or body om 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (1) market initiated proposed Rule means a request for a Rule, including a trial Rule, made under section 91 (1) in respect of which the AEMC publishes a notice under section 95 ; s 87 def market initiated proposed Rule ins 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (2) amd 2022 No. 22 (SA) s 9 (1) more preferable Rule has the meaning given by section 91A ; s 87 def more preferable Rule ins 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (2) non-controversial Rule means a Rule that is unlikely to have a significant effect on the national electricity market; proposed Rule means— a market initiated proposed Rule; or a proposal for an AEMC initiated Rule; or a proposed more preferable Rule; s 87 def proposed Rule ins 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (3) publish means— in relation to a notice required to be published under this Part (except section 90 or 103 )—publish in the South Australian Government Gazette and on the AEMC’s website; in relation to a decision under section 94 (2) —publish on the AEMC’s website and make available at the offices of the AEMC; in relation to a proposed Rule referred to in section 95 and any other documents prescribed by the Regulations in relation to a proposed Rule referred to in section 95 —publish on the AEMC’s website and make available at the offices of the AEMC; in relation to a draft Rule determination or final Rule determination—publish on the AEMC’s website and make available at the offices of the AEMC; in relation to a notice setting out requirements imposed under section 104B —publish on the AEMC’s website; in relation to any submissions or comments received by the AEMC under this Part—subject to section 108 , publish on the AEMC’s website and make available at the offices of the AEMC; in relation to a report prepared under section 108A —publish on the AEMC’s website and make available at the offices of the AEMC; s 87 def publish amd 2007 No. 53 (SA) s 53 (4)–(5); 2021 No. 3 (SA) s 22 ; 2022 No. 22 (SA) s 9 (2) trial Rule means a Rule for the purposes of a trial project; s 87 def trial Rule ins 2022 No. 22 (SA) s 9 (3) urgent Rule means a Rule relating to any matter or thing that, if not made as a matter of urgency, will result in that matter or thing imminently prejudicing or threatening— the effective operation or administration of the wholesale exchange operated and administered by AEMO; or the safety, security or reliability of the national electricity system. s 87 def urgent Rule amd 2009 No. 31 (SA) s 29
