sec.54G Disclosure of protected information for safety, proper operation of the market etc
AEMO is authorised to disclose protected information if— the disclosure is necessary for— the safety, reliability or security of the supply of electricity; or the safety, reliability or security of the national electricity system; or the disclosure is necessary for the proper operation of the national electricity market; or the information is customer profiling information for facilitating retail competition; or the information is in the public domain. AEMO may impose conditions to be complied with in relation to information disclosed under subsection (1) (a) , (b) or (c) . s 54G ins 2009 No. 31 (SA) s 7 (sec.54G-ssec.1) AEMO is authorised to disclose protected information if— the disclosure is necessary for— the safety, reliability or security of the supply of electricity; or the safety, reliability or security of the national electricity system; or the disclosure is necessary for the proper operation of the national electricity market; or the information is customer profiling information for facilitating retail competition; or the information is in the public domain. (sec.54G-ssec.2) AEMO may impose conditions to be complied with in relation to information disclosed under subsection (1) (a) , (b) or (c) .
- (a) the disclosure is necessary for— (i) the safety, reliability or security of the supply of electricity; or (ii) the safety, reliability or security of the national electricity system; or
- (i) the safety, reliability or security of the supply of electricity; or
- (ii) the safety, reliability or security of the national electricity system; or
- (b) the disclosure is necessary for the proper operation of the national electricity market; or
- (c) the information is customer profiling information for facilitating retail competition; or
- (d) the information is in the public domain.
- (i) the safety, reliability or security of the supply of electricity; or
- (ii) the safety, reliability or security of the national electricity system; or
