Queensland act
Queensland’s Education and Care Services National Law is the state version of Australia’s national framework that regulates childcare and early education services. It sets safety as the paramount concern, requires provider approvals and background checks, enforces a single quality and inspection system, and now lets regulators assess linked operators for systemic risks.
It affects families, approved providers, staff and volunteers, and ensures services are quality‑checked and legally accountable.
