sec.206B Power of authorised officers to obtain information, documents and evidence from former provider for purposes of related provider determinations
For the purposes of a related provider determination, an authorised officer, by written notice, may require a former provider to provide to the authorised officer any relevant information specified in the notice. A former provider who is required to provide information under subsection (1) must provide that information— in writing signed by that former provider or, if the former provider is not an individual, by a competent officer of that former provider; and within the time specified in the notice; and in the manner specified in the notice. The time specified in the notice must not be less than 14 days from the date the notice is issued. s 206B ins 2025 No. 53 (Vic) s 98 (sec.206B-ssec.1) For the purposes of a related provider determination, an authorised officer, by written notice, may require a former provider to provide to the authorised officer any relevant information specified in the notice. (sec.206B-ssec.2) A former provider who is required to provide information under subsection (1) must provide that information— in writing signed by that former provider or, if the former provider is not an individual, by a competent officer of that former provider; and within the time specified in the notice; and in the manner specified in the notice.
