Unlawful user prohibition (s 46): No person may, without lawful authority, use, occupy or be found in possession of Crown land or assigned land (s 46(1)(a)); keep or depasture stock (s 46(1)(b)); cut, dig or take timber, wood, gravel, stone, limestone, salt, guano, shells, sand, loam, brick-earth or other natural substances (s 46(1)(c)); strip bark from trees (s 46(1)(d)); cut, remove, take or damage trees or vegetation (s 46(1)(e)); or light a fire (s 46(1)(f)) without lawful authority.
Structure prohibition (s 46(2)): No person may erect any structure including a sign on Crown land or assigned land without lawful authority or the written consent of the Minister.
Vehicle restrictions (s 46(3)): No person may drive or park a motor vehicle, trailer or caravan on Crown land where such is prohibited by a sign or otherwise, or drive any vehicle on a beach or foreshore in use by people for bathing, playing or other recreational purposes.
Improvement obligations: Conditional purchase lessees and persons required to effect improvements must comply with improvement conditions and provide declarations.
Management plan compliance (s 3A): Where a management plan applies to a public reserve, all persons exercising functions in relation to that land must have regard to the resource management and planning system objectives, with the plan prevailing in cases of inconsistency.
