27Surrender of interest under contract

### 27 Surrender of interest under contract > > (1)  Any holder of land under contract may surrender his interest under the contract and the Minister may accept the surrender on such terms and conditions as he thinks fit or refuse to accept the surrender. > > > (2)  If the Minister accepts the surrender, he shall cause the contract to be cancelled and shall publish in the *Gazette* a notice of such cancellation, and thereupon all the right, title, and interest of every person under the contract shall cease and determine, and all moneys paid in respect thereof shall belong to the Crown, and the land comprised therein shall revert to the Crown.
