43 Extinction of title
(1) Subject to this division, if a limitation period under this Act ends,
being a limitation period in relation to a cause of action to recover or
obtain goods, the right or title to the goods of any person having that
cause of action is extinguished.
(2) If, before the end of a limitation period referred to in subsection (1),
an action is brought on a cause of action to which that limitation
period relates, the ending of the limitation period does not affect the
right or title of the plaintiff to the goods in relation to which the action
is brought—
(a) for the purposes of the action; or
(b) so far as the right or title is established in the action.
