Judgment (91 paragraphs)
The application seeks permission to make the following changes to an existing tavern that is partly used as a gaming venue:
- Increase the number of Electronic Gaming Machines by 11, from 29 to 40.
- Extend the trading hours applicable to the first floor level to allow trading until 1.00am Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and midnight on Sundays.
- Carry out internal buildings and works involving internal layout changes to provide for the additional gaming machines, new function rooms, bar/servery and toilet facilities. A small extension of 7 square metres is proposed (for toilets) with a resultant request for the licensed area to be increased by this amount.
