sec.37 Reporting harm to a child— Act , s 268
For section 268 (3) of the Act , the report must include the following particulars— the child’s name, age and sex; details of the basis for the detention centre employee becoming aware, or reasonably suspecting, harm has been caused to the child; details of the harm or suspected harm; particulars of the identity of anyone who the detention centre employee knows, or reasonably suspects, caused the harm or suspected harm or is able to give information about the harm or suspected harm.
- (a) the child’s name, age and sex;
- (b) details of the basis for the detention centre employee becoming aware, or reasonably suspecting, harm has been caused to the child;
- (c) details of the harm or suspected harm;
- (d) particulars of the identity of anyone who the detention centre employee knows, or reasonably suspects, caused the harm or suspected harm or is able to give information about the harm or suspected harm.
