sec.27 Record of searches

This section applies to the following searches— a search of a child under section 24 for which a detention centre employee used reasonable force to carry out the search; an imaging search of a child under section 24A ; a search of a child under section 25 ; a body search of a child under section 26 . The chief executive must make a record of the search containing the following information— the name of the child; the reason for the search; the name of the person who carried out the search and the name of each person who helped to carry out the search; for a search mentioned in subsection (1) (a) —the reason for the use of force and details of the force used; for another search—whether force was used to carry out the search and, if force was used, the reason for its use and details of the force used. s 27 amd 2024 SL No. 232 s 9 (sec.27-ssec.1) This section applies to the following searches— a search of a child under section 24 for which a detention centre employee used reasonable force to carry out the search; an imaging search of a child under section 24A ; a search of a child under section 25 ; a body search of a child under section 26 . • (d) a body search of a child under section 26 .
