Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This short regulation simply designates which existing state banks and agricultural boards would distribute relief under the Wheat Growers Relief Act 1936, identifying the responsible authorities in New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania. It affects wheat farmers in those states who sought relief payments.

Why it matters: the Commonwealth relied on familiar state institutions rather than new federal offices to deliver aid. Notably, Victoria and Queensland are not named here, so they were outside this particular arrangement.
