sec.47 Deciding applications for relocating or seasonal water assignment— Act , s 43

For section 43 (2) (i) of the Act , this section applies to— an application for relocating a water licence; or an application for a seasonal water assignment of a water licence. The chief executive may decide to grant the application if— the application is to change the location from which water may be taken under the licence from a location in a water licence zone to another location in a water licence zone; and the dealing is permitted under the water management protocol. Also, the chief executive may decide to grant an application for a seasonal water assignment of the licence if— the application is to change the location from which water may be taken under the licence from a location not in a water licence zone to another location not in a water licence zone; and the dealing is permitted under the water management protocol. (sec.47-ssec.1) For section 43 (2) (i) of the Act , this section applies to— an application for relocating a water licence; or an application for a seasonal water assignment of a water licence. (sec.47-ssec.2) The chief executive may decide to grant the application if— the application is to change the location from which water may be taken under the licence from a location in a water licence zone to another location in a water licence zone; and the dealing is permitted under the water management protocol. (sec.47-ssec.3) Also, the chief executive may decide to grant an application for a seasonal water assignment of the licence if— the application is to change the location from which water may be taken under the licence from a location not in a water licence zone to another location not in a water licence zone; and the dealing is permitted under the water management protocol.

• (a) an application for relocating a water licence; or
• (b) an application for a seasonal water assignment of a water licence.
