Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (ACT) Act 2015

Interpretation and procedural hierarchy

• Acts Interpretation Act 1901 (Cwlth). Section 10(1) applies the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 (Cwlth) as a law of the Territory for interpretation of the applied provisions. It provides that the Acts Interpretation Act applies as if the applied provisions were a Commonwealth Act or were regulations or other instruments under a Commonwealth Act, as appropriate.
