83 Health practitioner to notify board about death (1) This section applies if a health practitioner— (a) is required to give the registrar-general notice under section 82; but (b) is not required to give the board notice of the individual’s death under section 79, section 80 or section 81. (2) Within 4 business days after the day the health practitioner becomes aware of the individual’s death, the health practitioner must give written notice of the death to— (a) the board; and (b) the director-general.
