27E Application of other enactments to licensee s. 27E (1) Despite anything to the contrary in the **Water Act 1989**, a licensee of licensed land is liable to pay rates, levies, fees, charges and costs under that Act as if— (a) the land was not Crown land; and (b) the licensee was the owner of the land. (2) A licensee must comply with any relevant approved code of practice under Part 5 of the **Conservation, Forests and Lands Act 1987** in relation to the licensed land and to forest produce on the licensed land as if the land was private land.
