1Purpose

1 Purpose The main purpose of this Act is to reform and consolidate the law relating to vexatious proceedings in courts and tribunals in a way that— (a) balances individual rights of access to the courts with the public interest in an efficient and effective justice system; and (b) promotes uniformity with other jurisdictions in the management and prevention of vexatious behaviour.
