### 56 Notice of sale, &c., of growing trees > [*\[Section 56 Amended by No. 39 of 2006, s. 30, Applied:01 Jan 2007\]*](/view/html/inforce/2007-01-01/act-2006-039#GS30@EN) Where any owner of land comprising 50 hectares or more in area sells or agrees to sell trees growing on the land to be cut for commercial or industrial uses, use as firewood excepted, he or she must, within 30 days after the date on which he or she sells or agrees to sell the trees, give to the Valuer-General notice of the sale or the agreement for sale in an approved form.
