33A Giving false or misleading information to the Registrar A person who makes an application under section 33(1) must not, without reasonable excuse, in respect of that application— (a) make a declaration or statement, orally or in writing, to the Registrar that is false or misleading in a material particular; or (b) give information, orally or in writing, to the Registrar that is false or misleading in a material particular; or (c) omit from a declaration or statement made or from information given to the Registrar, orally or in writing, any matter or thing without which the declaration, statement or information is false or misleading in a material particular. Penalty: In the case of a natural person, 120 penalty units; In the case of a body corporate, 600 penalty units.
