4B Meaning of article (1) An article is a manufactured item, other than a fluid or particle, (a) is formed into a particular shape or design during manufacture; and (b) has hazard properties that are, and a function that is, wholly or partly dependent on that shape or design. (2) For subregulation (1), article includes batteries, aerosols, gas- filled lighters, seatbelt pre-tensioners and refrigerating machines.
