3 Objects The objects of these Regulations are: (a) to set out the obligations of persons involved in the transport of dangerous goods on land; and (b) to reduce, as far as practicable, the risks of personal injury, death, property damage and environmental harm arising from the transport of dangerous goods on land; and (c) to give effect to the standards, requirements and procedures of the ADG Code so far as they apply to the transport of dangerous goods on land; and

Regulations 2011 2 (d) to promote consistency between the standards, requirements and procedures applying to the transport of dangerous goods by land transport and other modes of transport.
