193 When cancellation, suspension or variation takes effect The cancellation, suspension or variation of a licence by the licensing authority takes effect on: (a) the day when the licensee is given written notice by the licensing authority of the cancellation, suspension or variation and of the reasons for it; or (b) a later day specified in the notice.
