#### 7 Persons, vehicles or areas targeted by authorisation 7 Persons, vehicles or areas targeted by authorisation > > (1) An authorisation may authorise the exercise of the special powers conferred by this Part— > > > > > (a) for the purpose of finding a particular person named or described in the authorisation, or > > > > > (b) for the purpose of finding a particular vehicle, or a vehicle of a particular kind, described in the authorisation, or > > > > > (c) for the purpose of preventing a terrorist act in a particular area described in the authorisation (or apprehending in any such area the persons responsible for committing a terrorist act), > > > > or for any combination of those purposes. > > > (2) The person, vehicle or area is referred to in this Part as the target of the authorisation. > > > (3) Without limiting subsection (1) (a), a person may be described by the use of a photograph or drawing. > > **s 7:** Am 2005 No 54, Sch 2 \[8\].
