26ZGA Contacting chaplain
> > (1) The person being detained is entitled to contact an authorised chaplain.
>
> > (2) The form of contact that the person being detained is entitled to have with an authorised chaplain under subsection (1) is limited to visits by the authorised chaplain to the person being detained.
>
> > (3) In this section, authorised chaplain means—
> >
> > > (a) a person who is authorised under the [Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1999-093) to perform the functions of a chaplain in a correctional centre, and
> >
> > > (b) in relation to a person being detained under a preventative detention order who is under 18 years of age and who is detained in a detention centre within the meaning of the [Children (Detention Centres) Act 1987](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1987-057)—a minister of religion authorised by the Chief Executive of Juvenile Justice, Department of Human Services to minister to detainees at that detention centre.
