#### 26J Terms of preventative detention orders 26J Terms of preventative detention orders > > (1) A preventative detention order must set out— > > > > > (a) the name of the person authorised to be detained under the order, and > > > > > (b) the period for which the person is authorised to be detained (not exceeding the period provided by this Part), and > > > > > (c) the date on which, and the time at which, the order is made, and > > > > > (d) the date and time after which the person may not be taken into custody under the order (not exceeding 48 hours after the order is made), and > > > > > (e) a summary of the grounds on which the order is made. > > > (2) To avoid doubt, subsection (1) (e) does not require information to be included in a summary if the disclosure of the information is likely to prejudice national security (within the meaning of the [National Security Information (Criminal and Civil Proceedings) Act 2004](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth). > > **ss 26F–26P:** Ins 2005 No 114, Sch 1 \[1\].
