#### 25MB Supreme Court may order provision of legal aid 25MB Supreme Court may order provision of legal aid > > (1) This section applies to any proceedings before the Supreme Court that relate to a detention warrant. > > > (2) The Supreme Court may, if the Court is satisfied it is in the interests of justice to do so, order the Legal Aid Commission to provide legal aid in proceedings to which this section applies to— > > > > > (a) a terrorism suspect in relation to whom a detention warrant is being sought, or > > > > > (b) a terrorism suspect who is subject to a detention warrant. > > > (3) If the Supreme Court makes an order under subsection (2), the police officer who is detaining the terrorism suspect must give the terrorism suspect reasonable assistance to enable the terrorism suspect to contact the Legal Aid Commission to obtain the legal aid. > > **ss 25MA–25MD:** Ins 2018 No 92, Sch 1 \[11\].
