#### 32 Circumstances in which a revocation election may not be made or is revoked 32 Circumstances in which a revocation election may not be made or is revoked > If a benefit is paid or becomes payable or is deferred or preserved in respect of a former contributor under the [First State Superannuation Act 1992](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1992-100) or another superannuation scheme before the date on which a revocation election made by the former contributor takes effect— > > > (a) the former contributor is not eligible to make a revocation election, and > > > (b) if the former contributor has made a revocation election, the election has no effect.
