#### 20B Definitions 20B Definitions > In this Part Public Service Superannuation Fund means a scheme, fund or arrangement established under the law of the Commonwealth or of a State to provide superannuation or similar benefits for persons employed in the Public Service of the Commonwealth or of a State and also includes the New South Wales Retirement Fund, the Local Government Provident Fund, the Superannuation Benefits Fund, the Local Government Pension Fund, the insurance arrangements effected under Part 2 of the [Local Government and Other Authorities (Superannuation) Act 1927](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1927-035) and such other schemes, funds or arrangements as are prescribed by regulations under this Act to be Public Service Superannuation Funds for the purposes of this Act. > > For the purposes of this Part, the Public Service of the Commonwealth shall include the Public Service of Papua and New Guinea. > > **s 20B:** Ins 1960 No 36, sec 7.
