Tasmania regulation
This order takes effect on 1 November 2024 (s2) and moves parts of the Department of Premier and Cabinet into two other departments: Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania into the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania, and Strategic Regional Partnerships and the State Planning Office into the Department of State Growth (s3). Mechanically it reallocates administrative responsibility and accountability and is administered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet; the order contains no transitional details, so implementation and timing must be coordinated by the named departments (s3).

This order takes effect on 1 November 2024.
(1) The part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet, known as Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania, is amalgamated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania.
(2) The following parts of the Department of Premier and Cabinet are amalgamated with the Department of State Growth:
(a) the part known as Strategic Regional Partnerships;
(b) the part known as the State Planning Office.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
