Tasmania regulation
These regulations set out how the State Policies and Projects Commission and relevant planning authorities must give public notice and make certain planning documents available for inspection (draft State Policies, integrated assessment reports, planning‑scheme amendments and the State of the Environment Report). They require publication in newspapers, on the Commission’s website, and display at offices, and must tell people how to make representations (regs 4–7).
The Commission and planning authorities pay the administrative and advertising costs and run the exhibitions; the public gains clearer, prescribed ways to inspect material and to submit responses.
