4 Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Social Security Act 1991.

eligible participant means an individual who enters into a Relocation Assistance to Take-Up a Job Agreement on or after 1 May 2021.

relocation assistance payment means, in the case of an eligible participant, an amount:

(a) paid by, or on behalf of, the Commonwealth in accordance with a Relocation Assistance to Take-Up a Job Agreement; and

(b) received by any means, including:

(i) an advance payment to the individual;

(ii) a reimbursement to the individual; or

(iii) a direct payment to a supplier who provides a good or service to the individual.

Relocation Assistance to Take-Up a Job Agreement means an agreement for the purposes of the program established by the Commonwealth and known as “Relocation Assistance to Take-Up a Job”.
