76 Proper officer to give report (1) On the hearing of a review under section 72 or 73, the Supreme Court may direct the proper officer of the Supreme Court to give to the Court such reports, as the Court considers appropriate, to assist the Court in conducting the review. (2) A person who is requested to give a report referred to in subsection (1) must comply with the request. (3) A report referred to in subsection (1) must be relevant to the period from the time the indefinite sentence was imposed on the offender or the last review was made by the Supreme Court. (4) A report referred to in subsection (1) is in addition to any other evidence that may be placed before the Supreme Court. (5) An offender is entitled to: (a) cross examine a person who made a report referred to in subsection (1) and any other witnesses; and (b) call evidence in rebuttal of a report and any other evidence.
