144 Mandatory sentencing before and after commencement (1) This section applies: (a) to an offender: (i) who committed an offence before the commencement; and (ii) to whom Part 3, Division 6A, as in force before the commencement, applies; and (b) if a court had not imposed a sentence on the offender in relation to the offence before the commencement. (2) Subject to section 148, the Act as in force after the commencement applies in relation to the sentence the court must impose on the offender in relation to the offence.
