### 54G Sale of land acquired under this Part > *\[Section 54G Inserted by 8 Geo. VI No. 4, s. 7 \]* > > > (1)  *\[Section 54G Subsection (1) amended by No. 101 of 1957, s. 25 \]*The Transport Commission may sell any land purchased or taken by it and not required for the purposes of this Part. > > > (2)  *\[Section 54G Subsection (2) substituted by No. 101 of 1957, s. 25 \]*Any lands acquired for the purposes of this Part under the [Lands Resumption Act 1910](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-9999-999) and vested in the Crown for those purposes at the commencement of the [Roads and Jetties Act 1957](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1957-044) shall be granted to the Transport Commission on its petition to the Governor therefor.
