### 54A Power of Governor to vest in Minister control and management of jetties under municipal control > *\[Section 54A Inserted by No. 84 of 1984, s. 5 \]* > > > (1) *\[Section 54A Subsection (1) amended by No. 30 of 1995, s. 3 and Sched. 1 \]*Subject to this section, the Governor may, by proclamation, vest in the Minister the control and management of a jetty the control and management of which are vested in a council. > > > (2) *\[Section 54A Subsection (2) substituted by No. 30 of 1995, s. 3 and Sched. 1 \]*A proclamation under [subsection (1)](#GS54A@Gs1@EN) is only to be made with the consent of the council of the municipal area in which the jetty is situated. > > > (3) A proclamation under [subsection (1)](#GS54A@Gs1@EN) shall contain the name or a description, and particulars of the location, of each jetty to which it relates.
