### 32 Entry by council upon land and staking out of same
> *\[Section 32 Amended by No. 55 of 1965, s. 5 \]**\[Section 32 Amended by No. 43 of 1991, s. 5 and Sched. 1 \]*Whenever a road authority intends to take any land for the purposes of this Act, it shall be lawful for the road authority, after having given 7 days' notice in writing to the occupier thereof, to enter upon such land and to stake out the same in such manner as it thinks necessary or expedient; and, if any person shall wilfully pull up, remove, or destroy any stake used for the purpose aforesaid, he shall be liable to a fine not exceeding 5 penalty units.
