Transport for NSW is authorised to release any information in the Register to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator established under section 656 of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (NSW)—
(a) to assist the Regulator in exercising its functions under that Law, or
(b) for any purpose related to the establishment of a scheme for the national registration of heavy vehicles.
