89 Suspension to be concurrent
(1) The period for which a person’s driver licence is suspended under this
part is concurrent with any uncompleted period of driver licence
suspension applying to the person under another part or any other
territory law (the other suspension)—
(a) subject to any order by a court in relation to the other
suspension; and
(b) only if the other suspension is not a suspension under the Road
Transport (Driver Licensing) Act 1999, division 2.3 (Demerit
points system).
(2) The period for which a motor vehicle registration is suspended under
this part is concurrent with any uncompleted period for which the
motor vehicle registration is suspended under another part or any
other territory law, subject to any order by a court in relation to the
lastmentioned suspension.
(3) The period for which a person is disqualified from obtaining a driver
licence under this part is concurrent with any uncompleted period for
which the person is so disqualified under another part or any other
territory law, subject to any order by a court in relation to the
lastmentioned disqualification.
