80 Extension of the Act by the Minister

For the purposes of section 98(1) of the Act, the following public authorities or other persons are prescribed—

Reg. 80(a) amended by S.R. No. 172/2019 reg. 6(Sch. 3 item 6).

(a) the Secretary;

(ab) the Head, Transport for Victoria;

(b) Metro Trains Melbourne Pty Ltd (ACN 136 429 948);

(d) the Melbourne Market Authority established under section 4(1) of the Melbourne Market Authority Act 1977;

(e) an Authority within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Water Act 1989;

(f) the port of Melbourne operator declared under section 4A of the Port Management Act 1995;

(g) the council of a university established by or under any Act;

(h) a TAFE institute within the meaning of section 1.1.3(1) of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006;

(i) a committee of management appointed under section 14 of the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978;

(j) the board of a denominational hospital within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Health Services Act 1988;

(k) the board of a public hospital within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Health Services Act 1988;

(l) the House Committee within the meaning of section 3 of the Parliamentary Committees Act 2003;

(n) Parks Victoria established under section 5 of the Parks Victoria Act 2018;
