78 Prosecution for parking offences
For the purposes of section 77(4) of the Act, the following public authorities and persons are prescribed—
Reg. 78(a) revoked by S.R. No. 172/2019 reg. 6(Sch. 3 item 5(a)).

(b) the Secretary;
(c) an authorised officer within the meaning of section 2A of the Land Act 1958;

(d) Safe Transport Victoria;
(e) a transport safety officer appointed under section 116 of the Transport (Safety Schemes Compliance and Enforcement) Act 2014;
Reg. 78(f) substituted by S.R. No. 36/2025 reg. 7(b).
(f) Alpine Resorts Victoria established under section 14 of the Alpine Resorts (Management) Act 1997;
(g) the board of a denominational hospital within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Health Services Act 1988;
(h) the board of a public hospital within the meaning of section 3(1) of the Health Services Act 1988;
(i) the council of a university established by or under any Act;
(j) a TAFE institute within the meaning of section 1.1.3(1) of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006;
(k) a committee of management appointed under section 14 of the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978.
