114 Purpose of Division The purpose of this Division is to facilitate a process for— (a) notifying the responsible road authority in relation to the condition of a public road which may require repair; (b) enabling condition reports to be prepared for use in legal proceedings; (c) the gathering of information for the analysis of the causes of accidents and the planning and implementation of road management and safety measures.
