#### 199 Taking possession of documents to be used as evidence 199 Taking possession of documents to be used as evidence > > (1) If an investigator takes possession of any documents under this Division for the purpose of obtaining evidence or protecting evidence from destruction, they may be retained by the investigator until the completion of proceedings (including proceedings on appeal) in which they may be evidence. > > > (2) The person from whom the documents are taken must be provided, within a reasonable time after the documents are taken, with a copy of the documents certified by an investigator as a true copy.
