> > (1) [*\[Section 7A Subsection (1) amended by No. 18 of 2019, s. 8, Applied:01 Feb 2021\]*](/view/html/inforce/2021-02-01/act-2019-018#GS8@EN) The Minister, by notice published in the *Gazette*, may determine an activity or service to be an interim regulated activity in respect of a category of registration.

> > (2) The determination takes effect on –
> >
> > > > (a) the day on which the notice is published in the *Gazette*; or
> > >
> > > > (b) a later day specified in the notice.
>
> > (3) The determination ceases to have effect when the first of the following occurs:
> >
> > > > (a) it is revoked by the Minister by notice published in the *Gazette*;
> > >
> > > > (b) the expiration of the period of 6 months commencing on the day on which the determination takes effect.
