### 16A Offence for registered person in volunteer class to engage in regulated activity for financial or other material benefit or reward

> > (1) A registered person who is registered in the class of volunteer must not engage in a regulated activity for financial or other material benefit or reward.
> >
> > Penalty: Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
>
> > (2) If a registered person applies, before or on the day of first engaging in a regulated activity for financial or other material benefit or reward, to amend his or her registration to the class of employee/volunteer, [subsection (1)](#GS16A@Gs1@EN) does not apply for the period –
