50 Status of orders
Ministerial orders under sections 7 , 8 , 14 and 49 –
(a) are statutory rules within the meaning of the Rules Publication Act 1953 ; but
(b) are not instruments of a legislative character for the purposes of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
