5 Category A devices
(1) A category A device is a device that meets the criteria in subsection (2) or (3). (2) The criteria in this subsection are that the device: (a) is an aware user device; and (b) is not required to be evaluated under section 5.2 of Schedule 5 to the ARPANSA Standard. (3) The criteria in this subsection are that the device: (a) is a non‑aware user device; and (b) is not required to be evaluated under section 5.3 of Schedule 5 to the ARPANSA standard.
