#### 51 Obligation of managers of public officials 51 Obligation of managers of public officials > > (1) A manager to whom a voluntary public interest disclosure is made, and who is not a head of an agency or a disclosure officer for an agency, must, as soon as reasonably practicable, communicate the disclosure to a disclosure officer for an agency with which either the manager or the public official who made the disclosure is associated. > > > (2) However, the manager is not required to make the communication if the manager is or becomes aware the public official has made substantially the same disclosure to the head of, or another disclosure officer for, an agency with which either the manager or the public official is associated.
