#### 52 Persons acting on behalf of government departments and certain statutory bodies—the Act, s 5 52 Persons acting on behalf of government departments and certain statutory bodies—the Act, s 5 > > (1) For the Act, section 5(1), a person who is authorised to act on behalf of the following is prescribed as a person who is not required to hold a licence under the Act— > > > > > (a) a government department of the State of New South Wales or the Commonwealth, > > > > > (b) a statutory body representing the Crown in right of the State or the Commonwealth. > > > (2) The exemption applies only in relation to functions exercised by the person while acting on behalf of the department or statutory body.
